I really doubt expecting me to write a journal for public consumption is a good plan, really.
Why?
Because most of what I’d write about would be considered a massive over-share. I just don’t see a point in holding back anything. In the end it’s my journal, and supposed to chronicle my life. If I start deciding who can and can’t have access to what, I’m not being very fair or keeping a reliable record, now am I?
I’m Pandora Carson Stephens. Yes, Pandora. As in the Greek myth. Everybody knows the story of Pandora’s Box. How the poor girl opened the box that let out all the evil in the world. How ‘bout we talk about the parts of the story nobody ever remembers:
Pandora has the distinction of being the first mortal woman created by the gods. They gave her a shitload of talents. We’re talking like would probably some sort of world famous all-star zillonaire celeb if she was around now amount of talents. Unfortunately for her and all of us, she got curious about what was in her dowry box and lifted the lid. When she did, yes evil escaped, but what everyone always neglects to mention is that she gave the world hope. Before that people were just hopeless suckers going through their lives.
I think it balances.
I also think my parents were stoner hippies who would live on a commune somewhere if they weren’t so attached to owning stuff, but that’s sort of irrelevant.
